NIWRA's expertise is dealing with raptors and Vancouver Island Black Bear. We work closely with Dr. Malcolm McAdie who oversees the care of the animals and birds at the centre.

Education is very important to teach the public how they can lessen the impact we all have on wildlife.

Upon arrival to the centre you will be greeted by one of our gift shop volunteers who will tell you how to navigate the centre. NIWRA is trying hard to go local therefore you will see giftware from across Canada.
