The "May Neish Learning Centre" was constructed in 2002 in memory of our founding member May Neish of Comox, BC. The centre was created to house NIWRA's wildlife biofacts and to educate thousands of school children and the general public. Keeping with the theme of nature, this building is esthetically pleasing. Presentations are given throughout our open season. In the summer, our bird handlers introduce Sandor, Oliver and Bardo to the public. What a treat!!
