This bird was found by a family when it was a nestling. He is an imprinted bird and will be used in our educational program.

Stash has recently passed away.  Because of his weakened immune system due to poisoning, he became very ill.

Came from Guelph Ontario with wing problems and will not be released into the wild.

Came from the Pacific Raptor Centre as young birds as educational birds.

This young Owl has a severly broken wing tip after being found in a tree that was cut down.

Yuki
Was admitted to the centre with a badly damaged wing and will be used in our educational program.

Blue
Came from Duncan as an imprinted owl and is used in our educational program

Came to us with a badly broken wing which did not heal well. He will remain at the centre in our educational program.

Boo
Has a very serious eye injury from undetermined causes and now remains at the centre to be used in our educational program.

Ebony
 Unfortunately Ebony passed away in February 2011 due to advanced age :(

Shorty
This Short eared owl came from Port Hardy suffereing from wing damage and head trauma. He will remain at the centre.

Edgar Alan Crow
Edgar has passed away.  :(

Glider
Came from a private falconer as an imprinted bird and cannot be released into the wild.

Perry
This peregrine falcon came from Tofino with a damaged wing and is considered non-releasable.

King Alfred
Wing damage causes the flight feathers to fall out therefore making him unreleasable.

Oneye
Oneye was hit by a car and as a result lost his eye and can not be released into the wild.

Knut
Born in captivity and rejected by his mother, this black bear has helped us with successful releases of wild bears.

Doves
Often doves end up at the centre because they are abandoned, confiscated and not looked after properly.

Ferrets
Icicle & Iggy make great pets. They live at the centre to teach people the responsibility of owning a pet and not wildlife.
