Knut
Born in captivity and rejected by his mother, this black bear has helped us with successful releases of wild bears.

Trickster
This bird was found by a family when it was a nestling. He is an imprinted bird and will be used in our educational program.

King Alfred
Wing damage causes the flight feathers to fall out therefore making him unreleasable.

Elvis
Admitted to the centre after being found tethered to a balcony. He is an imprinted bird.

Igor
Came from Guelph Ontario with wing problems and will not be released into the wild.

This young Owl has a severly broken wing tip after being found in a tree that was cut down.

Yuki
Was admitted to the centre with a badly damaged wing and will be used in our educational program.

Came from Tofino near death from starvation.  She doesn't fly well enough to survive in the wild.

Starlight
Came to us with a badly broken wing which did not heal well. He will remain at the centre in our educational program.

Boo
Has a very serious eye injury from undetermined causes and now remains at the centre to be used in our educational program.

Oneye
Oneye was hit by a car and as a result lost his eye and can not be released into the wild.

Emily
Emily is a falconry trained Saker Falcon. She is recoverying from an eye injury. She will remain at the centre.

Patrick
A captive bred falcon that suffers from seizures so is no longer able to fly as a falconry bird.

Glider
Came from a private falconer as an imprinted bird and cannot be released into the wild.

Doves
Often doves end up at the centre because they are abandoned, confiscated and not looked after properly.

Ferrets
Iggy and his friends live at the centre to teach people the responsibility of owning a pet and not wildlife.

This Turkey Vulture was admitted with a broken wing that healed on its own but not in the correct position to allow for successful flight.

  Farley 
This Great Gray Owl was hit by a car which resulted in a badly broken wing.  He will remain at the Centre

  Ralph
Ralph is a young bird that was imprinted on people and never learned to find food on his own. He will remain here at the Centre.
